Summary: An easy worry-free tranaction for an amazing product!
Comment: GENERAL: I must admit that I was a bit skeptical about ordering such a high-dollar product online; however the transaction went smooth, fast and I wouldn't hesitate doing it again, or recommending it to someone else. The TV was $600 less than I could purchase it at any local retailer; and it was well worth the five-day wait to get it at home.
SHIPPING: I placed my order on a Thursday, and had my new TV the following Tuesday. I will say that it only had to ship from PA to NH; thus it wasn't too far away. I checked the status of the shipment daily, and when I saw it arrived at the local hub, I called the shipping company myself to set up the delivery. The delivery arrived within the scheduled time block, and the gentlemen who brought the TV into my house, did it with "white gloves."
PRODUCT: I am thrilled with the new TV; it's everything the reviews said it was, and set-up was a snap. I'll re-visit this post once I've had it longer, to give further feedback. I was also a bit worried about the "touch of color," being too strong; honestly it's very subtle and not nearly as obvious as the online images make it appear.

Summary: Panasonic Plasma lot better than Samsung LCD
Comment: I read lot of people's reviews this item and thought it's good TV until I bought it. I completely disappointed with the color setting of this LCD. The color look too yellow and red. I could not make it any better. Compared it to my 720P Panasonic Plasma, the plasma color is beautiful out of the box. The sound is another terrible thing on this TV, with surround sound on, I cannot understand clearly because it sounded like you bring the sound recorder to theater and recorded. Overall, it looks good with PC input. However, with others, DVD and TV inputs, the color on this TV is not good. If you don't believe me. Buy this TV and find out.

Summary: Great TV, great value
Comment: I've been looking at buying a Sony 46XBR4 for about a year, before I chanced on this unit at a local Best Buy. The colors were very sharp, there was hardly a glare, the TOC was unique and the price was fantastic. I've had this unit for close to a month now and switched from Comcast to Direct TV HD. The picture and sound are just beyond my expectations. I've hooked up my xbox360, ps2 and wii quickly. This TV has also improved xbox360 gameplay images and sounds. The images from the xbox360 dvd player are very, very sharp. I watch a lot of tennis and other sports in HD and the quality is lifelike. Also, I actually like the remote but use Direct TV's remote already. I have no firmware issues. I ordered this unit on a Monday afternoon and got delivery by Thursday noon. I just have one advice -- buy it !

Summary: BUY THIS TV!!!!!!!!!!
Comment: I bought this tv last week and it is simply amazing. The tv has the glossy screen and despite what others say THE GLOSSY SCREEN RULES!!!. The screen looks like a plasma. I have always loved the sharpness of lcd , but loved the glossy look of plasma. This tv combines the best of both. The 120hz set on high makes sports looks amazing. and it set on low to medium makes tv looks so real the people pop out of the screen. I haggled this tv down to 1599 at circuit city and it is a huge picture and the best purchase you can make for yourself. The TV does not run hot and is perfect. the red looks sweet and is barely noticeable, so do not let that distract you. This tv looks better than any of my friends plasma's Seriously!!!. GO BUY IT NOW. as far as the Glare issue. i have mine in my front living room with big windows and there is no issue other than what we lived with for 50 years of television. remember when we just had a minor glare, and it really is very, very minor. i watched this tv in the day all day long in my new house with NO SHADES up yet and there was NO issue at all. Trust me i am a very,very,very picky consumer and i am over impressed by this tv

Summary: Excellent Samsung :650A Rocks
Comment: I'm pretty anal about doing my research. So I did plenty. This LCD had great reviews so we looked at it live and in person at Best Buy and Circuit City. It looked great but they couldn't come close to Amazon's price.
There is no longer an issue with the power cutting out. This was taken care of during the first half 2008 with a software upgrade and all TV's since are fine. No issues.
Picture quality is awesome and a great bang for the buck. I have a Sharp Aquos that is a few years old and is not even close. The picture in HD on the Sharp is decent but not even close to the Samsung 650.
Buy this model without hesitation. The 850 is about [...] more using LED technology but is not worth the [...] difference in price unless [...] is like [...] to you, then go for it.....
Buy the 650A and enjoy.
