Summary: Do not buy this!
Comment: In December 2007 my brother purchased a gift subscription for this magazine for me. I filled in and send off the activation code required and have received nothing a year later! I have emailed and telephoned Bauer Media trading as greatmagazines.co.uk and they have simply refused to do anything, saying "You must provide evidence of the address you sent it to etc." DO NOT BUY THIS!

Summary: Better Than Most
Comment: Brit Mag never short on laffs, great pics and interesting, substantive articles. Definitely not PC, rude, literate humor is the norm. Not a candy rag that just prints the publicity from the MC corporations either. Hands out criticism equally w/just praise. Sport bike centric, faired & unfaired, other bikes are given articles but they aren't the focus here. With that said, they try to convey the feeling of riding and living w/all bikes. Always have one or more articles about interesting travel or bike event, so if you don't have the time or resources you can at least read about it. Loads of good, critical gear reviews. Well put together and good looking. Not cheap, but worth it.

Comment: A very well presented mag with a lot of humor (sometimes a bit overdone), very nice tech stuff and pics. Suffers from being a bit too oriented towards the Orient. Certainly keeps you up to date. Will keep buying it.

Summary: In a league of their own...
Comment: The ultimate sportbike magazine--handsome format, printed on quality stock, tremendous depth of coverage, great pictures, delivered with the right dose of British wit and off-color humor. Brilliantly delivered (accessible by the non-engineer) technical information. Costs a bit more, but well worth it. Lower soft-porn factor than the other euro bike mags, but much, much better.

Comment: Bike magazine is simply a beautiful and enlightening resource for the motorcyclist. The photography is art; the writing is exceptional and it covers the industry in its entirety.
