Customer Rating: Summary: Biofeeback Peaceful Fun and Knowledge!! Comment: This is a fascinating game. Not your typical kill, kill, kill computer game. It's a game that very effectively shows you how to control involuntary body functions. Through a series of biofeedback challenges, you move on to discover more, and more about this mystical land called the Sun Realm. Some of the biofeedback challenges are very difficult and others are easy. That, however, may be just a personal evaluation. Meaning, easy things for me, might be difficult for someone else and vice a versa.
I have had the game for about 30 days and have completed all the tasks and in doing so have learned a lot about biofeedback and how I can help myself relax in normal everyday stressful situations. Though the game is expensive, it's worth it. I would buy it again! I fully encourage anyone who is interested in biofeedback to buy this game.

Customer Rating: Summary: Best meditation assistant I've ever owned Comment: I bought this product because I had a dr. accuse me of being anxious and depressed. While I would agree I suffer from white coat anxiety, I didn't agree with the dr. otherwise. I figured, though, that if the dr was right, a biofeedback game would be the perfect help. I had wanted to try Journey, anyway, and this gave me an excellent excuse to buy it. I bought it for myself for Christmas. I have probably spent hundreds of dollars on meditation tapes, meditation books, classes - you name it, I've tried it. I do an excellent job of falling asleep using any of them. Journey to the Wild has been wonderful for me. I am finally experiencing the powerful benefits of meditation without falling asleep. I am given different experiences to entice me to keep trying, keep going - and stay awake. I am sustaining a feeling of happiness and life satisfaction. The only negative would be coming from my husband. He thinks I'm hogging the computer now. I've started timing myself so that I don't stay on too long. Who would have ever thought that a person who has found no computer games she liked previously would have to time herself so that she doesn't become so wrapped up she does nothing else? If you are looking for an adventure game, you won't like this. If you are looking for a meditation assistant, I think you'll love it.
Customer Rating: Summary: If you're going to use it, it's great Comment: My mother got me this program when I was suffering from stress-caused lockjaw and tension problems with my back, as well as headaches. I found installation to not be a problem, and once I got the "magic rings" in the right spot, I haven't had any more probelms with them. I found that it works well, and I feel that it really manages to show me how tense I am, and helps me to feel my energy a lot more, and it has attuned me to the subtlety of my own energy. I am a little frustrated because there is not a whole lot of guidance concerning what you need to do next in the game. That was very frustrating for me. The game kept telling me to get a mentor, but I could not figure out how the heck I was supposed to do that. I started the game over, and I got him the second time. I found the scenery to be beautiful, and the music soothing, though a little repetative after a long time. I would recommend this program to anyone who wants to explore biofeedback as an option for stress relief. But I would also warn you to follow the sequence of the program, or go to the chapter by chapter part, because otherwise you can lose your place and then it is very difficult to find it again.
Customer Rating: Summary: Loving it! Comment: I found this game at Whole Foods, of all places. I'd heard about these sorts of games but didn't know they were available mainstream. Found it just in time for Christmas!
I'd read the other reviews so I did have some concerns. I'm running Windows Vista, but the install process went as smooth as could be, and quick.
I've had absolutely no problem with signal transmission through the rings. Minor repositioning here and there, and I like to check the "system" option on the menu to make sure it's optimal.
I've only been playing 3 days now, but I'm noticing how much easier some of the exercises are getting; however some are easier or harder depending on the day, which makes sense.
This game is great for me. I know the benefits of meditation, but I tend not to do them without someone leading me through; my impatience and busyness take over. This gives me motivation through the game aspect to keep me going on my own, as well as the visual feedback that helps me know I really am affecting myself. I am loving the Chakra visualizations!
At this point the only thing more I could wish for is a few more options on the start menu, such as a volume adjustment. Navigating around through the start area can be a little confusing at first, the map isn't ideal, but there are links to home-made ones in the forum as well.
Enough gush, I'm going back to my game!
