Summary: PERFECTION- why did i wait song long to buy one!
Comment: I used a French press b/c I was told it made the best coffee. A few months, 2 cylinders (what French press is) and no way to get a new cylinder for free- even with receipt! I invested in this guy- with a timer- its the bestttt coffee I've ever tasted out of a coffee machine!

Comment: After running around from store to store, I found the PROGRAMMABLE 4 cup coffeepot on Amazon, it was ordered and delivered in days! This is the only 4 cup coffee pot that you can program that I could find. This is an awesome feature, thanks Mr Coffee.

Comment: I have just thrown out my second one. I really enjoyed my first 4-cup programmable Mr. Coffee maker so I bought another when the first one croked. After about two years, I noticed stains under it on my counter top. Apparently the machine had a small leak and the bottom had completely rusted. I have not been able to clean the rust stains from my counter. I was pleased with the coffee, but it was not worth the stains on my ceramic counters.

Comment: It's easy to use and it works fine. I haven't tried the programmable mode yet; but, so far, I have no complaints. I like it better than the Cuisinart that it replaced; that model had a stainless steel carafe, that didn't pour very well. It's a good value.
