Comment: I teach high school chemistry and biology. This pointer allows me to be anywhere in the room while I control the computer and still have a hand held pointer. Although it does take some practice to get good with the mouse it works well, and allows me to launch videos, work with power points and to get a blank screen if I need it. I have been using this for two years and really like it. One other nice feature is that I can move among my students and use the pointer to highlight anything in the room, including lab equipment as I go. Therefore I can see what students are doing while I am presenting.

Summary: My Classroom Hiro!
Comment: This product works totally as promised. The company's service was excellent, shipping my classroom Hiro as fast as a speeding bullet-point.
I teach children, using my laptop & a projector. I'm seeking to make my instruction more interactive. The ability to have a wifi mouse - for the first time ever - has advanced my instructional interactivity with the kids leaps 'n' bounds. They see it as some kind of Wii remote.
With PowerPoint as my base presentational software, I'm able to use the wifi mouse capabilities on it's interactivity of: (1) Custom animations with & without triggers, (2) hyper-linking to other slides, external documents [such as word documents w. instruction-focused questions] and other programs, (3) Visual Basic ActiveX Controls [Developer Tab], and (4) Embedded Multimedia Controls.
The interactivity is for real time quizzing, questioning 'n' answering and points of levity. The Kids love seeing their input up on the classroom screen. All of this translates to capturing and maintaining their attention. This in turn enhances retention.
The laser pointer is a plus.
The wifi distance allows me to roam the classroom as I instruct. I ain't real fond of nailed-to-the-lectern teaching styles for children.

Summary: Nice product even though the mouse function not very smooth
Comment: After Delta lost my luggage with two laser pointers, it was time to go buy new ones, and I decided to try something more sophisticated - not just a pointer but a remote control device for my PC.
On this PLUS side, this device looks good, feels good in the hand, and takes moments to install. The laser pointer is fine, the PowerPoint clicker is fine, and the power consumption seems satisfyingly low.
On the MINUS side, remote mouse control is nowhere near as smooth as with a regular mouse or touchpad. It feels a bit crude.
I will continue to use this device and maybe will post another review after I've had more exprience with it.

Summary: Excellent and has mouse function!
Comment: This was an office purchase for my boss. He loves it! Easy to use, works no matter where he stands in a room, and BONUS mouse function. He likes to change screens, so this works great. And, I no longer have to standby to change the slides/screens. The other review about the box is spot-on. Comes in a nice, sturdy box with foam cutouts. I kept it to carry the pointer and USB port in my laptop carrying case. It's all in one place and won't get damaged.
