In-car navigation has never been easier - or more affordable.StreetPilot "c-series" GPS navigators feature a simple touchscreen interface, with automatic route calculation to any destination and turn-by-turn voice-prompted directions along the way. Selecting a destination is straightforward and requires only a limited amount of input from the user. Plus, the StreetPilot c330 allows you to choose between a three-dimensional navigation view or the more traditional "bird's eye" overhead view.The c330 comes factory preloaded with MapSource City Select map data. The centerpiece of both units is a bright, 3.5-inch diagonal, 16-bit color display that makes navigation a snap.The new StreetPilot c-series boasts distinctive and sleek styling - the only buttons are a rotary volume knob and an on/off switch. The device is secured by a suction-mount cradle that fastens to the windshield for easy portability between vehicles. Comment: I have now purchased ( 5 ) of the C330 Street Pilot for myself and family members. We all love them and have had no problems to report. For the price you can't beat it and recommend it if your looking for a cheap GPS that is easy to use.

Comment: Pros: Works as expected. Gets me from A to B when i need it.
Cons: 1) On power on, it needs a minute to find satellites. Sometimes the process gets screwed up and I need to cycle the power to find satellites.
2) Internal map database is old. You can upgrade for a price but, it usually works for me anyway so I'll wait a while before I upgrade the maps.
Overall: I would recommend this product as a great buy and I would definitely buy it again.

Comment: Garmin StreetPilot c330 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator is an exceptionally easy GPS to install in the car. One design flaw that I noticed what that the unit was too easy to remove from the plastic holder that attaches to the dashboard. That would lower the rating, but the price is really really exceptional

Comment: The Garmin Street Pilot is excellent. I will be purchasing the 2009 updates soon. It works perfectly and the maps are easy to read and the voice is clear. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in a first time purchase of a nav guide. For a refurbished unit I am delighted with the results!

Summary: Does the fact ory even check these things?
Comment: I bought this as a Christmas present for my Dad. I didn't think about the risks of buying a factory refurbished item until I recieved it and tried to charge it and turn it on. It was completely unresponsive. The factory should probably run a few tests on these things before they leave to be resold.
