Customer Rating: Summary: Excellent faucet system Comment: Excellent faucet filter system. I've tried the other model they have and even PUR's models and this one is by far the most sturdy. I've checked Brita's website and it looks like they're discontinuing this model. Probably because it's too good.
Customer Rating: Summary: Better Than The Original Comment: I had the original On Tap filter but I had to replace it three times. I saw this one and thought it was worth a try even though it cost more. It was worth it. The whole system is more sturdy. It seems less likely that the seal will weaken like the old one because it doesn't move when you change the settings. Also, the filtered water comes out in a larger stream which makes it quicker to fill things. The only negative with this product is that it fits under the faucet and it is a bit bulky. It gets in the way a bit when I do dishes or if I'm trying to fill a pitcher for example. But that's not enough to deter me from this product. BUY IT. You won't be disappointed.
Customer Rating: Summary: The First Few weeks were great Comment: The first 3 or 4 weeks were great the product worked great, saving me a ton of money on bottled water and space in the fridge from the gallon model. I found the model tasted alot less charcoal like than the gallon model. But unfortunately after 3 or 4 weeks the light turned yellow which is fine because we drink alot of water and I didn't expect it to last long but the water that would come out would smell like rotten eggs, now I know Florida water is not the best but my tap water smells fine. I shouldn't have to run my water for 5 minutes before pouring a glass. Also the model is a bit bulky making it harder to do dishes. Last but not least it makes the pipes vibrate in brita mode, I try to turn it on as slowly as possible but unless its barely trickling those pipes will vibrate and if they burst I know brita's not going to pay for them.
Customer Rating: Summary: Probably user error Comment: I have had the Brita Aqua view for around three years now. And the only time I have ever had any complaint other than the replacement indicator not seeming terribly accurate, was when I accidentally ran hot water through the filter. HOT WATER WILL RUIN THE FILTER!! At somewhere between 15 to 20 dollars per filter, it's a mistake I only made once. The filters have a good life span aside from that. I have been very pleased with the quality and taste of the filtered product. And 2 of my years with it were in Atlanta, where the water is notoriously bad.
And how many other on tap water filters offer a sprayer option? I use that feature almost exclusively, I believe it cuts water usage when rinsing dishes by about 30%. That alone puts it a step above. If used properly I think the Aqua View is as good or better than any other available.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Best product Comment: Brita aquaview is the best filtration system that you will ever buy and is so simple to install it will only take you 5 minutes is and awesome product in my personal opinion in you need a water filter for your home check on this product you will never regret buying this product.
