Customer Rating: Summary: These are a great way to have your glasses handy at all times. Comment: Love them. They hand solidly around your neck and you just click apart, place on nose and click back together.
Customer Rating: Summary: absolutely scatterbrain-proof glasses!! Comment: I am VERY hard on reading glasses. I used to have to buy another pair almost every month, I either lost or accidentally broke them. Usually, they broke without my knowing how or when,I'd look down, and the glasses would be hanging in 2 pieces from my necklace-style eyeglass holder. I tried several different styles of eyeglass necklaces, and of reading glasses, cheap and pricey, and nothing changed. I tried hanging the glasses from my neckline, and they often fell and got scratched. I bought these, because they looked like they'd been designed for ME, and they WERE.
I tossed the packaging in the trash as I left the shop, and may have therefore missed the instructions,so didn't know for some time that the temples are adjustable in length, and the pressure on my temples when they were new was noticeable, but they became pretty comfortable within a week (I have a LARGE head, 7 3/8 hat size). Now,I adjust the temple length a LOT, and it stays where I adjust it to until I adjust it again. Sometimes, the temple pulls out of the neckpiece when I pull too hard, but it easily goes right back in, and NEVER pulls loose unless I am pulling too hard on it. I have had these for 1 year and 4 months. They still look new. When I'm not using them,I pull the halves away from each other, and just let them hang down, and when people see that, it's been quite a conversation starter, especially when people see me "break" my glasses on purpose! I put them on when I get dressed in the morning. No more does my family have to wait while I try to find where I left my glasses, or fumble to put them on so I can read what the family is waving at me. I can even just use them one-handed, reading thru one lens while I hold the item I'm reading with the other, like a monacle. The clear color goes with EVERYTHING I wear, it goes without saying, I plan to buy some colored framed Clics too, though.
I LOVE these glasses, would rate them among the top 10 best-designed things I ever bought in my life! And I am over 50!
Customer Rating: Summary: Logo Sucks Comment: This is the second pair we have purchased. The new pair has a CLIC logo printed on the lense of the glasses. The logo will not come off. We will not buy another pair. We used them for reading, not advertising for the company.
Customer Rating: Summary: Mostly Excellent Comment: At last! An unloseable pair of glasses. They stay right where you need 'em, when you need 'em. Before, if I carried glasses in my shirt pocket, they fell out every time I bent over. If I carried them in a pants pocket, they got bent, scratched, or both. No more of that, anymore.
Like an earlier reviewer, I'm an educator, and the students seem to think these glasses are some kind of fashion statement. Well, I'll take hip any way I can get it---at age 58, it isn't easy. :)
My hat size is 7 3/4 and, with the frames at full extension (they are adjustable), I get a perfect fit. Someone with a larger head might have a real problem wearing them, however, and that's why I subtracted one star from the product rating. Otherwise, these are great reading glasses.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great product Comment: The CLiC Adjustable Front Connect Reader are phantastic glasses to wear during work and doing house work. It's just so practical not to have the glasses hang down on your belly.
