Summary: Very Effective At Immune System Enhancement
Comment: First a disclaimer: I AM NOT A DOCTOR, NOR AM I A NATUROPATH, SO THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IS PURELY ANECDOTAL. My naturopath prescribed GreensFirst for me about 5 years ago. Since then, I have had a grand total of 1 bad cold / case of the flu ... and I think that was because I was living in Japan for 2 months, and didn't take my GreensFirst with me on the trip. Prior to that time, I would typically have 3-5 bad colds each winter, and usually a case of the flu. The first winter I was on G/F, the difference was quite dramatic. The taste is good -- not luscious, mind you, and I can't see myself drinking G/F "recreationally". (So "Hey barkeep ... GreensFirst on the rocks with a twist" is probably not in the cards.) But the taste is decent, pleasantly sweet. It dissolves well in water with no left-over powder residue in the bottom. (You don't need a blender; just put the G/F powder in the shaker, fill the shaker 2/3 full of water, and shake. When you take the lid off, the mixture will look a medium shade of olive-drab, but don't be put off by the appearance.) But even if it tasted like chimpanzee vomit, I would continue drinking it because it is like my immune / disease-resistance system is on steroids. JIM

Summary: Couldn't get past the taste
Comment: I have yet to find a greens product that I could swallow. No matter how much mint you add, it still tastes like grass. If you can drink wheatgrass, this will probably taste great to you. If you're a taste wimp like me, you might find yourself drinking it once then tossing the rest like I did. It might be a great product for some, but I personally just couldn't swallow it.

Summary: Love this stuff
Comment: I read an article recently which asked a variety of health care professionals, "If you can offer ONE piece of advice to help people stay young & lead healthier lifestyles, what would it be?" One of the professionals suggested incorporating a "green drink" into your daily routine and mentioned this particular product. I ordered it based on the recommendation and I am absolutely hooked. It takes away my grogginess in the morning, makes me feel better, AND it tastes great. Light & refreshing.. it tastes much better than it looks (I have tried others since and they were AWFUL). And its not just me- I got my boyfriend hooked too. I highly recommend this for anyone.

Comment: Greens First by Doctors for Nutrition I tried Greens First after my chiropractor started selling it. My initial impression? It tastes great! After having a scoop mixed in water first thing in the morning for the first few weeks, I found that I felt better and I experienced better regularity than when I used Metamucil. Added bonus? I lost 30 pounds in the first 18 months of usage without any other changes to diet or exercise! I've used other greens drinks with more antioxidant punch, but Greens First was better tasting and left me feeling healthier.
