Summary: Aloha high air conditioning bills
Comment: The Aloha provides a nice cool breeze that allows us to keep the air conditioner to be turned up as much as 10 degrees even in the hottest temperatures. It is quiet and very effective and well worth the price just in the first month of reduced energy bills.

Summary: Fan works great in a dining room/office!
Comment: I uploaded some pictures so you can get a better look at this fan. I actually bought it at a local overstock store (Big Lots) for the same price as mentioned here. It works just great for what I needed. I have small children and didn't want a fan they could get their fingers into, didn't want to the "wind" of a box fan, and didn't want to put a ceiling fan in my dining room which we also use with our laptops as an office. This tucks away nicely, puts off ample air, is quiet (a nice hum to sleep to), and works just fine. I would recommend it to someone who wants what this offers--quiet, out of the way, safe, not crazy windy. I have the gray one and it looks nice and classy. (this review was after two days of use, so I cannot comment on longevity)

Summary: COOLest fan!
Comment: I purchased this fan because I am in that part of life where I'm now experiencing HOT flashes. I bought this to be a quiet and discreet fan at work. We are not supposed to have extra electrical devices such as heaters and/or fans at our desks, but this fan fits in so discreetly and is so quiet that the only way people know i have it is by the very quiet electronic noise from the remote to turn it on and/or off. The remote and fan operate effortlessly! I have had so many people notice it when in my office and they think it is so cool literally and practically!
This was such a good buy and I'd buy another one in a heartbeat for my home. It has variable speeds and the handy in-tower spot for the remote on top of the fan is very convenient so you always know where the remote is. I really can't say enough about this fan. It comes fully assembled except for the base and it is very easy to snap on.

Summary: The Aloha is Noisy
Comment: I was expecting the (White) Aloha Tower Fan instead I received a different model (Grey). It is has a droning noise, not a steady noise. That makes it difficult for me to sleep with it on. I am not pleased with it but did not want to go through the trouble of sending it back. The model I received is different from the one that was shown online.
