Summary: Just what I needed
Comment: This is a replacement strap for my messenger bag. Or as my wife calls it my man purse or murse. It is just what I needed: there is a rough grip material that is on the under side of the padded section so there is no more sliding off my shoulder. The same section is curved so that it 'fits' over the shoulder. The length is adjustable enough to allow for a sling over or over the head use.

Comment: I bought this strap for my duffel bag for a trip to europe and I can confidently say that the strap will outlast my eastpak duffel bag. Sure metal clips, comfortable pad, and extremely rugged design & materials make for the perfect shoulder strap.

I would use this thing as a seatbelt. Period. It will not break.
