Summary: CAN YOU SAY 'CARRYON"?
Comment: This product is great! I can't get over how these bags can shrink and become so small with so many garments. I packed(stuffed) many well folded summer garments in the large bags and was amazed at how compact the bag became once it shrunk. Now I have so much more room in my closet and a bunch of empty storage containers. The other two I travel with-in my carry on!! I would definitely recommend these to anyone who needs to store bulky items, or additional storage space, and don't want to pay for checked bags.

Summary: A Trip Saver
Comment: We bought these for our recent vacation, and they were invaluable. Our large suitcase was damaged and everything in it had to be redistributed between our other bags. Without these I doubt it would have been possible.
I was careful not to overfill (as noted in other reviews), and they worked every time, opening and reclosing thru 3 continents over 15 days. They never leaked once. However they are rather thin feeling so I'm not certain how much longer they will last. To be safe I've ordered another set as a backup.
I found I could also squeeze a little extra air out by carefully kneeling on them after rolling. I love these things!

Summary: Medium carry-on fits only so much
Comment: I've only used the space bag on one trip and the medium sized bag worked well for two thin beach towels. However on the way back apparently over stuffed bag opened on its own I believe due to the pressure change on the airplane as it is practically impossible to squeeze all air out. Also the little plastic bit that you are supposed to slide to seal the bag came off but on the other hand it is easy yet a little annoying to put it back on.

Summary: This is a terrible product and is intrinsically defective.
Comment: The plastic that these bags are made of is way too thin to be practical. The bags rip very easily, even when used exactly as the manufacturer specifies. For the money you pay for what is essentially a plastic seal-lock bag with a valve, you'd think you would get a bag that utilized a thicker sheet of plastic. Also, the bags do not keep their seal. The valve itself can keep the air in after the air is vacuumed out, but not over an extended period of time. Perhaps the manufacturer could make the screw-on cap, more reliable. Perhaps the seams of the plastic bag are not sufficient. Perhaps the bags could be made more durably, I'm not sure, but this product is really poorly made.
Bottom line is that this product does not do what it advertises, it is built in a very shoddy fashion, it breaks easily, it doesn't keep the vacuum seal (and the space saving advantages are lost). Do NOT buy this product.

Summary: really helpful for airline travel
Comment: One of the things I like best about the Space Bags is that everything in my suitcase is contained. Not only are my clothes compressed to save space, but should my bag be opened for inspection, it is less likely that my stuff will be disturbed. I don't know about anyone else, but it just makes me feel weird to think of TSA agents tossing through my undies! If they can see what's in the plastic bag, they usually won't open it up.
The bags work multiple times, but eventually seem to lose their ability to seal up. I've had some pop because I smooshed on them too hard and fast while trying to push the air out and I've had the zip top stop sealing. But only after multiple satisfactory uses.
All in all, Space Bags are definitely handy, both for getting more stuff in less suitcase and for keeping it safe and contained.
