Comment: Hubby dearest who grew up in the wilds of South Dakota, near the wilds of Montana, says the Chokecherry syrup is just like his mother used to make. Of course of some of her chokecherry syrup was "accidental" as it was chokecherry jam that didn't set. Either way the chokecherry syrup from Huckleberry Haven is top notch and will provide many a homesick dweller of the northern plains a taste of home.
I'm off to buy some more Huckleberry Haven chokecherry syrup. It's that good.

Comment: i bought a whole bunch a syrups from this company because i love fruit syrup on my pancakes and waffles. the chokecherry syrup is different from the others. the color is red, not purple. and it tastes like chokecherries, which is a little more tart than other berries. enough sweetener balances the tart. this syrup is really delicious, and i think it's worth the money (although expensive)because you'll never find chokecherry syrup anywhere else, unless it's home made. i used to make home made syrup, and this is just as good as mine, probably better. take my advise and buy several bottles so you don't run out. also, it saves on shipping.
