With a scream of excitement she promptly put these on (while still in her nightie) and "skated" around the house for most of the day. She loved the color and made her feel like a big girl.
The skates are very well made and the addition of the ankle velcro strap is great. I ordered a half size up (for room to grow) and that was perfect -- not too big. The color is great and they clean up really nicely after being used outside -- even enough to be used at an indoor rink.
