Editorial Reviews:

The Gen/Tran PowerStay manual transfer switch is a highly versatile switch designed for 6 circuits, 20 Amps, and generators up to 5,000 watts. Plus, as your family or business needs change, this product can expand up to 16 circuits, increasing its range of use. The cabinet can be conveniently flush or surface mounted indoors, and the design accommodates either hardwiring to a generator or installing via a plug-in cord. The standard branch circuit breakers make for easy replacement and expansion, allowing you to reconfigure the product to suit your needs. This transfer switch features a L14-20 male power inlet and dual watt-meters to help balance generator loads. Included in the design are two 15 Amp 1-pole breakers, two 20 Amp 1-pole breakers, and one 2-pole 20 Amp breaker; the transfer switch accepts Arc Fault and GFCI breakers. To use this transfer switch, a 60 Amp main breaker must be installed in the existing load center. This product is listed to UL standard 1008.
