Summary: Not what it looks like
Comment: It sounds like a great idea and I was really excited to complete the project. However, it has taken me TONS of time and I had to go buy new glue to even get it to work. The kit comes with really useless glue in a horribly inefficient dispenser. The glue doesn't hold corks in. Not to mention the corks never quite fit right so your cork board will never look like the example picture. I wish I hadn't wasted my time and money.

Comment: This makes a great gift for someone who drinks (a lot) of wine. There's some work involved - glueing the corks on the board. But it's a nice project. And each time your giftee glues, s/he will be thinking of you...

Summary: Nice way to preserve memories
Comment: I got this as a gift for a friend of mine who is a wine fanatic. It is a great way to preserve memories of the various wines you may try, to keep reminders of your favorite wines or the events at which you drank the wine. It is easy to create and the wooden frame appears to be of high quality. It is unfortunate that it requires so many corks, though. I gave this as a gift close to two years ago and she has yet to drink enough wine to fill the corkboard. I still think this is a really nice gift for a house with wine-themed decor, for wine fanatics, etc.
